Ambulances on the road are one of the safest, most convenient, and comfortable modes of transportation for clients.

We have well equipped ambulances which operates twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. Personnel working in the ambulance are trained Emergency Medical Technicians equipped with the skills to manage all pre-hospital emergencies from trauma to medical.

Our ambulance services are open to the general public with nationwide coverage for referral of clients from one hospital to the other or for medical investigation purposes. All of our ambulances come with functionalities that have long-distance patient transportation in mind.

Our ambulances are cutting-edge mobile emergency rooms where our medical team can diagnose, treat, and stabilize patients. Each ambulance is ICU equipped has full supply of medicine and contemporary technology, including a ventilator that help in the delivery of quality service.

There is a funeral ground for families who wish to use perform funeral ceremony within the hospital before burial as well as bathing and dressing rooms.

Collaboration, teamwork, sharing ideas and brainstorming require having flexible workspaces to keep productivity at high levels.

Our 200 capacity standard seating conference room is available not just for internal use but also open to accommodate larger groups of external corporate bodies for seminars, business conferences and durbars.

Our medium sized 80-100 seater capacity standard seating as well as our 30 seater small sized conference rooms, are available for lectures, strategic meetings, brainstorming and ideation sessions.

Our conference rooms are fully equipped and come with comfortable furniture, high-speed Internet, state-of-the-art presentation equipment and tools and kitchen facilities with in-house catering services.

The Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) plays a key role in providing the items required to deliver quality patient care. Our highly hygienic CSSD is dedicated to bulk cleaning, packaging and sterilization of all materials needed for surgical and medical purposes. Our Central Sterile Supply Department is open to other facilities.

Proper handling of used and soiled linen at hospitals is important for controlling hospital acquired infections. Our laundry service is responsible for providing a constant supply of adequate, clean and fresh linen. We do sorting, washing, extracting, drying, ironing, folding, mending and delivery.

The care and dignity of your loved one is of utmost importance to us. We collaborate closely with relevant bereavement stakeholders to provide support to clients and their families during this difficult phase.

Our state of the art morgue comes with a 200 storage capacity unit, an Autopsy Room, Histology Lab, Client Waiting Area and an Ambulance Bay. We have well trained and professional staff to take care of your departed loved one.

There is a funeral ground for families who wish to perform private funeral ceremonies within the hospital before burial. Comfortable viewing rooms are also available for family visits.

Other services include beautification and transport (Hearse).

Waste management are all the activities and actions required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes collection, segregation, transport, treatment and disposal of the waste together with monitoring and regulation.

Our waste treatment plant (Ecodas), shreds and sterilizes all solid medical, hazardous, general and infectious waste.

Liquid waste flows into a Septic tank and pumped into the bio-digester plant where the waste is anaerobically treated. The treated waste water (by-product) is discharged into the Sakumono lagoon.

The hospital also partners with other community waste management companies for the disposal of sterile products, organic waste and Recyclable Products.

Our 24/7 security-manned facility can boast of adequate security for various cars parked within our premises. Our spacious and conspicuously demarcated 180 car-capacity parking lot, makes enough room for secure parking for clients, visitors and staff of the hospital. Special spaces are available for motorbikes, bicycles and for persons with disability.

Well trained and experienced security staff are always available to help and direct motorists to ensure safe, comfortable and appropriate parking.

IMaH has four Operating Rooms (ORs), two for Obstetric and Gynaecological procedures and the other two for General Surgery and Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic cases. The ORs are fully equipped to provide quality care to our clients. Each OR has a Lamina flow and UV system in place to ensure infection free area. The visual appeal, efficiency and cleanliness play a role in promoting a healing environment for both clients and staff. Our warm and friendly theatre environment ensures client comfort throughout the surgical journey.

Maternity Ward

The Obstetrics and Gynecology department is made up of 14 beds and 20 beds respectively. The wards are equipped with ultra-modern monitoring machines which assist in given best medical care. The Obstetrics unit is located at the east wing on the first floor which has a bed capacity of fourteen (14).

This is made up of 7 bedded room, 4 bedded room, 2 bedded Observation Ward and 1 VVIP ward. The VVIP ward has a delivery bed for our laboring women choosing the ward for their comfort, there is also neonatal resuscitation unit for prompt care in case of an emergency.

The unit has 2 delivery suits which is strategically positioned between the theatres and the Neonatal Intensive Care unit for prompt action for any complication during labour. The O&G unit has three OBG specialist consulting from Monday to Saturday. The unit practice Focus Antenatal care for our clients and their partners where privacy is assured and individual problems addressed. The midwives are highly professional in their dealing with client and relatives.

Surgical, Medical Wards & VIP

The general ward is a unit that admits both female and male patients. It has one general ward with 10 beds at the ward A, two VIP ward with 2 beds each and also two VVIP ward with 1 bed each. At the ward B, the ward has 10 bed capacity with two (2) VIP, 2 VVIP and a side ward making the whole ward 18 capacity bed ward.

In total we have a bed state of 16 and 18 making 34 bed capacity. It is design for both medical and surgical cases.

Paediatric

The Pediatric department is made up of an OPD, in-patient and a neonatal intensive care unit. The Pediatric Ward is a 20-bed capacity ward situated on the second floor of the hospital. It is designed to admit both Medical and Surgical in-patients and subdivided into a General Ward (10-beds, 4 large cots), 1 Side Ward (2-beds), a Babies Unit (1 incubator and 3 small cots) and a NICU.

The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is located on the first floor of the hospital at the obstetrics unit. It is designed to admit neonates from 0-28days. It has two incubators, one radiant warmer and three phototherapy units. Our neonatal intensive care unit provides specialist care to sick term and preterm (premature) newborn babies.
