Dr. Dompreh-Ofori

Dr. Kissi Dompreh-Ofori is a distinguished Ghanaian Physician and Health Services Executive with nearly two decades of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration, governance, and hospital management within the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) and the broader public health sector.

He brings on board a unique blend of clinical expertise and strategic leadership, with a proven track record in health systems strengthening, operational efficiency, and institutional performance improvement.

Dr. Dompreh-Ofori is deeply committed to fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. He is passionate about building resilient and efficient healthcare systems that enhance patient experience, optimize service delivery, and support sustainable institutional growth.

Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a fitness enthusiast and a devoted family man.

Education

Dr. Dompreh-Ofori obtained his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), forming the foundation of his clinical career.

He further advanced his expertise with a Master of Public Health (MPH), strengthening his capacity in population health and health systems management.

He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Services Management from the University of Ghana Business School, equipping him with advanced strategic, financial, and managerial competencies for healthcare leadership.

In addition, he has completed an Executive Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Labour Law and Application, enhancing his ability to lead, manage, and develop high-performing teams.

He has also received specialized training and certifications in: Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene (Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons), Occupational & Environmental Medicine (American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Baltimore, USA) and Crisis Management
